JOB SUMMARY
The Construction Manager, Marine is responsible for overseeing the construction of the marine facilities associated with the project, to ensure all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements. This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires the ability to carry out field surveillance tasks, which may involve extensive walking in and around a construction site.

This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires the ability to carry out field surveillance tasks, which may involve extensive walking in and around a construction site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all LSTK marine work associated with the construction of an LNG terminal.
- Oversee the execution of marine construction activities including but not limited to dredging, shoreline restoration, and ship loading structures.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Support Project close out activities to ensure successful transition upon completion of work scope.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all dredging operations comply with local, national, and international maritime laws.
- Knowledge of dredging equipment, marine construction methods, and technologies.
- Knowledge of bathymetric surveys and technical reviews of BD / AD surveys of varying types.
- Support technical marine scope reviews and review procedures, changes to scopes and NCRs.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Interface with owners Engineering, Project Controls, HSSE, Regulatory & Permitting and Quality functions to support successful project execution.
- Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations.
- Strive to build and maintain relationships with EPC partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in Marine Construction Management.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and USACE compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or Construction Management. Relevant work experience can be considered.
- Knowledge of Marine & Dredge work associated with USACE, U.S Coast Guard and FERC permitted projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, systems, and requirements including codes and standards relevant to Marine & Dredge work.
- Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization to ensure clarity in expectations requirements, and deliverables with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work on competing priorities to meet time-bound requirements.
- Welcomes working in a fast paced challenging and diverse entrepreneurial environment
- Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Experience with Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools.
