Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Manufacturing for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position but preferred to work onsite as much as possible.

What will you do

As a Senior Associate Manufacturing on the Operational Excellence Team Compliance at our client, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading deviation investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
You will conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions, manage and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes and compliance, and assist in investigating material-related issues to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Additionally, you will support complaint investigations by providing assessments related to manufacturing process controls.
In this role, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and compliance, ensuring that safety and quality standards are executed flawlessly to deliver high-quality products.
You will also provide training and support to manufacturing staff to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards in manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Manufacturing Processes: Support and lead deviation investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Risk Assessment Facilitator: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Document Requirements: Manage and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes and compliance.
  • Support in Material Issue Investigations: Assist in investigating material-related issues to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Complaint investigation support: Support investigations by providing assessments related to manufacturing process controls.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and compliance.
    • Safety & Quality: Ensure that safety and quality standards are executed flawlessly to deliver high-quality products.
    • Training & Development: Provide training and support to manufacturing staff to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
Required qualifications and skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in risk assessment and process monitoring tools.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a compliance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address compliance issues with precision.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and support manufacturing teams.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and manufacturing processes.
