Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior ICST Engineer - Senior Telecoms Engineer on a permanent basis.

with expertise in Telecommunication Systems for major energy transition, olefins, refinery and petrochemical projects that will be located in both UK and international markets.

Job Scope:
This role will  have responsibility for the following:
  • Prepare and check engineering procedures, specifications and standards.
  • Provides technical consultancy to the engineering team and projects
  • Oversight and supervision of:
    • Discipline Philosophy and Specifications.
    • System Architecture Drawings
    • Data Sheets.
    • Material Requisition for Telecommunication System Integrator (TSI).
    • Technical Bid evaluation.
    • Detailed discipline drawings.

  • A degree level engineering qualification
  • Lead engineer role experience through design, procurement and construction phases with a depth and breadth of experience in design from first principles of telecommunication systems infrastructure and design associated with chemical/polymer/power/industrial plant.
  • Excellent knowledge of European, American and International standards applicable to the chemical industry which must include understanding of hazardous area requirements under DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500 & 505 and IP Part 15.
