Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Facilities Manager on a temporary basis with potential scope to become a permanent employee. The position will be based in Crewe, Cheshire.
The client is an industry leading Industrial Gases company with a global reach.
Are you passionate about looking after facilities and managing and developing your own team at the same time?
You will be part of a team that will manage vendors, forecast budget and manage cost, manage EH&S, deliver planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs within the facilities management at our client's Crewe office.
The Office Facilities Manager role involves:
* Lead, motivate and develop your team.
* Interact with key site stakeholders.
* Interact with and influence people at all levels.
* Manage and measure performance of all FM vendors (including Cleaning, M&E, Fire safety, grounds maintenance etc.)
* Manage the on-site tenant relationship.
* Develop the operational office budget and effectively manage the operational costs.
* Develop capital investment plans to maintain and enhance the asset value, efficiency and workplace environment.
* Ensure implementation of EH&S policies and procedures, inspection and testing regimes, and evacuation plans
* Oversee the site EH&S committee.
* Ensure planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs are performed on time and to specification.
* Provide the reception and mailroom services.
As the Facilities Manager, you already have:
* A strong sense for direction and supervision
* Proven experience in facilities management
* Confidence to own the role and deliver it with authority and a strong positive personality.
* Proven experience in managing a team.
* EH&S qualification preferred (IOSH)
* Full IWFM membership preferred.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
* Experience in using SAP.
