Our client has a current opportunity for an experienced and dynamic professional to join their team as Regional Business Analyst & Development Lead. This role is vital to the Management Team, entrusted with leading business development, sales and marketing initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate on developing and implementing the strategic plan for the region.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within the renewable energy market.
- Lead Business Analytics: Oversee analysis of key areas, markets, and welding scopes. Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- Elaborate a robust business and commercial model for opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients in target industries.
- Maintain regular client visits and contact.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Pull opportunities into active tenders.
- Ensure tender information is distributed to relevant departments.
- Collate and update tender documents for submission.
- Collaborate with Manager and Proposals & Tender Manager.
- Identify key areas for business expansion aligned with the business growth strategy.
- Prepare and roll out a Business Development Plan for strategic projects.
- Flexibility in travelling throughout the region to visit clients and potential customers.
- Work closely with the corporate sales and marketing team.
- Ensure a level of technical understanding to enhance sales presentations.
- Collaborate with the Business Development vision for the region/group.
- Coordinate comprehensive marketing activities.
- Cultivate and enhance the company's image in welding activities.
- Manage the company's representation at key industry events and online.
- Establish and nurture contacts with potential clients.
- Reporting duties including Weekly Activity Report, Market Trends Report, Customer Management Report, Business Development Progress Report, Financial Performance Report, Business Analytics Report, and Strategic Planning Report.
Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience and profound knowledge of the Energy industry is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in driving successful business development, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, compliance, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with advanced CRM systems for effective reporting and data analysis.
- Exceptional analytical, creative, and numerical skills.
- Proficient in IT for enhanced productivity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven managerial and leadership abilities.
- Resilient decision-maker capable of navigating high-pressure situations.
- Customer focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
- Adept at managing internal information and communication to support the role.
- Skilled in leveraging market analysis for strategic planning.
