Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Work Schedule: 28/28
Main responsibility to provide expert Electrical engineering analysis and recommendations for all matters regarding electrical maintenance, fault finding and compliance at HBNS. Will assist in activities and statutory planned and unplanned shutdown works within the central processing facility.
Responsibilities:
* Site wide support on all Electrical systems.
* Review, develop and incorporate maintenance procedures for all electrical systems.
* Develop Electrical preventative maintenance procedures
* Assist in Electrical maintenance, fault finding
* Assist in shutdown execution works.
* Review Electrical Projects and commissioning.
* Cataloguing of new electrical items into CMMS
* Perform Technical Bid Evaluations for electrical equipment and components offered by external vendors during GB procurement process.
* Maintenance representative Electrical, working with 3rd party auditors to ensure that the facility complies with International Best Practice in terms of codes and standards as directed by Algerian Government.
* Mentoring, assessment, training and developing the competence of Electrical technicians through on-the-job training, classroom lessons, coaching, assessment and feedback.
* Maintaining technical competence and compliance to GB procedures and HSE standards.
* Develop maintenance procedures for installed and commissioned Process Control Systems.
* Provides electrical engineering expertise plus consultation and technical guidance to maintenance teams and contractors.
* Ensure compliance to specifications and documentation of site engineering changes under management of change.
Requirements:
* Engineering Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* At least 10 years' experience in the maintenance of Electrical equipment within oil and gas production facilities.
* Experience working on similar operated producing projects
* Previous rotational and international working environment experience preferred
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team of technical staff, to work with the maintenance department management of an organization, and to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Detailed understanding of ATEX management
* Experience of working on both LV and HV switching
* Current knowledge of international electrical standards
