Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Pipeline and Manifold Engineer, based Offshore.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and analysis of offshore pipeline and manifold systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
* Perform structural and hydraulic analyses to optimize the performance and integrity of pipelines and manifold structures.
* Manage and coordinate pipeline and manifold engineering activities within the project, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical, structural, and process engineers, to integrate pipeline systems into overall project designs.
*Select appropriate materials for pipeline construction based on environmental conditions, fluid characteristics, and project requirements.
* Develop material specifications and oversee procurement processes to ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Conduct risk assessments related to pipeline and manifold design, identifying potential hazards and proposing mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams to implement safety measures and protocols.
* Establish and implement quality control procedures for pipeline and manifold construction activities.
* Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
* Oversee the installation and commissioning of pipeline and manifold systems, coordinating activities with offshore construction teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation and commissioning phase.
* Provide technical support for ongoing pipeline and manifold operations, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to address any issues that may arise.
* Participate in the development of maintenance and inspection programs to ensure the long-term integrity of the systems.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering.
* Professional Engineering License is preferred.
* Significant experience in offshore pipeline and manifold engineering for oil and gas projects.
* Experience dealing with pipeline interfaces to platforms as well as FPSO's.
* Proficiency in pipeline design software and industry-standard engineering tools.
* Strong knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards.
* Excellent project management and leadership skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
