Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer (offshore wing - transport and installation)

Location: London, UK

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of offshore wind farm projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust project schedules, providing expert planning advice, and supporting the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Provide proactive planning support to Work Package Managers, attending weekly meetings and addressing scheduling challenges. Conduct monthly schedule reviews and generate accurate forecasts for the leadership team. Advise on and implement effective planning strategies and principles. Coordinate and interface between work packages, identifying and resolving potential conflicts. Ensure accurate and timely updates to the project schedule, reflecting all changes and actions. Support the Planning Team and Management Team in day-to-day planning activities. Contribute to the monthly integrated/PLT report, including Planning Slides, Milestone Tracker, Level 1 Schedule, and programme pressure analysis. Develop "what-if" scenario planning to inform key project decisions. Provide ad-hoc planning support across multiple project packages as required. Occasional site visits (UK) may be required to work with contractors and gather project data. Essential Skills & Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in project planning and a strong understanding of project controls principles, practices, and reporting. Proven experience in planning and scheduling large-scale projects, ideally within the offshore wind industry with a focus on Generation, including Transport & Installation and SIMOPS mapping. Excellent understanding of Planning Management / Control / Engineering on projects from Development through to Construction. Experience with: Wait of Weather management and integration of different scenarios Scenario modelling and meeting facilitation Mobilisation Window mechanism modelling Quayside utilisation, including storage/marshalling/handling Sequence modelling to determine float and critical paths Weather Downtime software Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and delays. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience of working in multicultural and multi-disciplinary environments. A self-motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
