Time and Attendance Administrator
Immediate start
Duration - up to 12 months
Rate of pay - £12.48 per hour for 36 hours per week
Fully on-site
The Shared Services team is responsible for supporting the HR requirements of the business. The successful candidate will join a team that are responsible for the client's payroll input for their Devonport and Bristol sites, and the Time and Attendance for Devonport.
The primary role will be to be responsible for the administration of employees Time and Attendance records. This could include but is not limited to changes to working hours, sick absences, holiday, annual leave, travelling time and bookings. This is a very fast-paced environment with tight deadlines so attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. The Time and Attendance Administrator will carry out updates and follow up on queries to ensure employee's records are accurate. Experience of working in a time and attendance role is desirable. The role works closely with the HR Administration team, managers as well as the wider HR community.
The purpose of the role is to work closely with other members of the team, the People Centre and the business to ensure our employees are accurate so that they are paid correctly and on time. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for the accurate input of data for payroll whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
- Assisting colleagues with queries relating to their time and attendance, both via email and over the phone.
- Deal with all queries brought to our attention in a professional and timely manner
- Work with other members of the People Centre to resolve problems relating to employees pay
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service to customers and colleagues
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Experience in time and attendance
- Experience in HR databases, MS Excel and Word
- NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience
- Educated to GCSE level including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards would be advantageous
