Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Supply Chain for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be onsite at least 1 day a week.
Accountabilities
- Ensures reliable and efficient ERP support (operational support, incident management & testing) within GDH EMEA scope.
- Acts as the 1st point of contact for flow stoppers and issue resolution in ERP.
- Support of business Order to Cash (OTC) processes and system improvements
- Providing appropriate and accurate information and analysis for effective decision making in GDH EMEA
- Manages GDH EMEA daily/monthly reporting requirements, including KPIs & month end closing. Advises on issues to be escalated.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Daily/monthly execution of all (KPI) reporting (daily dashboard update, monthly KPIs, month end reporting, etc.) to provide accurate data to support operations and drive business decisions.
- Maintain and enhance established dashboards (SQL & Tableau).
- Support on established projects within GDH EMEA.
- Create reporting to support GDH EMEA and advise on issues to be elevated.
- Advice on OTC processes by gathering information, research and analysis of data.
- Attend and/or facilitates cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions which optimize processes.
- ERP system support and -enhancements (operational support, incident management, training, Change Request).
- Initiate and execute improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Contribute to and actively seek out business improvement projects.
- Support any SOX related requests.
- Support cost management processes to ensure timely completion of all flows.
Required Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration or Data Science.
- Strong user experience and/or interest in SAP Order-to-Cash module.
- Proven track record in data modelling and data-driven decision making.
- Good understanding of GDP and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ability to navigate in a matrix organization with strong internal and external network relations.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, systems and supply chain concepts.
- Operational Excellence/LEAN certification or knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, six sigma, FMEA.
- Experience working with SAP TM.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and data analysis.
- Typically, 2 or more years of related professional experience.
- Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English, in both oral and written communication.
- High learning agility, self-directed and results-oriented.
- Analytical and strong conceptual thinking.
- Hands-on and pragmatic.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for multiple levels in organization, including presentations.
- Demonstrated capability to influence others to deliver results.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail.
