Job Title: Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer
Location: North Hampshire

About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Asset Manager, this is a key position focused on ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of control and instrumentation systems across the site. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and improve all control and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of C&I systems to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and commissioning of new C&I projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades and modifications in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of site-wide automation and control strategies.
  • Maintain documentation, including technical drawings, system schematics, and maintenance records, ensuring they are kept up to date.
  • Provide technical advice and support to operational teams to optimize plant performance.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to C&I systems.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HNC qualification or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Control & Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
