Job description
Our client based in Portlethen, is seeking a Contracts/Supply Chain Administrator for a period of approximately 12 months. Please note that this role can not be worked 100% remotely.
The Contracts & Procurement Department is responsible for all contract and procurement activities, ensuring that services and supplies are obtained under the best conditions regarding quality, delivery time, price, etc
As a Contracts Administrator, you will be based in the Portlethen office on a hybrid working pattern.
· Maintaining the company’s MAXIMO procurement system.
· Administering framework agreements for various services and supplies.
· Conducting and facilitating periodic contractors’ performance reviews.
· Reviewing, updating, and maintaining the contractor risk classification system.
· Complying with the Corporate Management System (CMS).
· Understanding the “purchase-to-pay” cycle and administration requirements.
· Organizing tender boards and tender evaluations to make contract award recommendations.
· Liaising closely with operations personnel both onshore and offshore, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
You will ideally be:
A strong and experienced Contracts Administrator with good work ethics having a professional outlook with strong contractual understanding, attention to detail and demonstrable commercial acumen.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
· Over 5 years’ experience in Contracts administration within the offshore oil & gas industries including specific experience in resolving supplier disputes, as well as in expediting.
· Technical knowledge of offshore supplies and services, as well as offshore transport and logistics requirements.
· A proactive approach to the role and be able to demonstrate added value at all times.
