Job Description: Project Planning Engineer (Dubai)
Our client, a leading global energy technology company, is seeking a Project Planning Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Monitor project progress, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting status updates and potential risks.
- Utilize project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project to manage and optimize schedules.
- Support the project team in resource allocation and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the energy, oil and gas, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant planning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
