Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Process and Systems specialist, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Establish global standards for HR Operations activities that set the framework for all related activities in the company.
* Own the HRIS strategy for relevant systems and identify opportunities to improve the use of data and systems to optimise efficiency and effectiveness
* Act as the first point of contact for the IT HRIS team, partnering with them on the development and implementation of the HRIS roadmap, including:
o Analysis and interpretation of data related to people processes, making future recommendations for future systems improvements,
o Making recommendations and embedding solutions regarding data storage of employee files and records,
o Enabling digitalisation of HR processes and procedures, e.g. making employee handbooks searchable online, implementing chatbots for policy and handbook search queries, increasing self-service optionality and automating data centres etc
* Lead on improving global induction and onboarding processes
* Own the framework and process for organisational input for annual business planning, partnering with Finance and coordinating input from country-based HR teams
* Provide global mobility and cross border move support, oversee and manage outsourced providers in this area
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Mergers & Acquisition work including support for due diligence reviews
* With specific reference to the recently signed sale and purchase agreement; support integration work with Eni and Var as required in relation to all aspects of HR operations and HRIS, plus support for the separation of the company.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree in HR or equivalent topic/experience with working experience in HR function
* High proficiency in excel and data management, experienced in using HRIS
* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
* Agile and adaptable working style - focused on ensuring interventions are fit for purpose
* Interested in the digital agenda and be digital savvy
* Able to work on issues independently and drive improvement initiatives within and outside of the team
* Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and able to interpret data
* Must be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and have an abundance of common sense and pragmatism
* Brilliant at influencing employees at all levels to support your strategies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
