Job description

Job Title: ICAPS Administrator

We are seeking an ICAPS Administrator to oversee the system completion database for the an Expansion Project offshore. This role ensures the successful execution of system completion workflows, including handling ITRs, punch lists, and work packs, to meet project objectives safely and within scope, budget, and schedule.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead system completion workflows from engineering to final acceptance, ensuring compliance with the ICAPS database.
  • Manage and update system completion documentation, including ITRs, punch lists, and commissioning procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Progress Reports, reflecting actual progress.
  • Facilitate Completion Walkdowns during all project phases.
  • Review and implement commissioning system completion documents from the EPC contractor.
  • Identify and address risks and challenges in system completion, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in commissioning changes and ensure they align with project goals, adjusting schedules and costs as necessary.
  • Mentor trainees and maintain a register of lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree with experience in system completion.
  • Minimum 8 years working with ICAPS and OPERCOM methodologies in large-scale projects, especially in oil and gas.
  • Experience in system completion workflows, handling ITRs, punch lists, and managing commissioning processes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and ICAPS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and coordinate with contractors.

  • Expert in system completion workflows and database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex tasks.
  • Experience with interface coordination and multi-discipline teams.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a project setting.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhere to company safety, health, and environmental policies, ensuring all activities comply with quality standards.
  • Offshore mobilization may be required depending on project needs.
