Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of KPI & Performance Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Having the skills necessary to build and publish Power BI reports to the online service and share with relevant users. Stretch target of achieving Microsoft's Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification in BI Reporting.
* Analyse, interpret and act upon Power BI data for the benefit of the asset
* Acting as a key interface with the central Data Analytics team to improve the data quality and reports generated by the central team.
* Providing a service to other Asset Departments, designing, and building the reports they need to understand and improve their performance.
* Working with the Data Analytics team to validate and automate new Asset reports and where relevant share with other Assets.
* Act as a focal point for the asset for the company's Synergi tool and provide support to stakeholders to ensure closure of cases within the required deadlines. Play a key role in the Asset Synergy governance meetings to communicate status and action steps required.
* Act as a focal point for the CNS Asset Risk Register - communicating with colleagues to assist case updates and closures.
* Proactively seek and propose improvement ideas and initiatives by utilising tools available (e.g. LEAN and other CI techniques)
* Focal point within the Asset for the collation, preliminary analysis and reporting of the Asset Performance Indicators as approved by the Asset Director to predetermined deadlines.
* Formalise agreement on the annual KPI and reporting formats and appropriate frequency of reporting for each Performance metrics.
* Establish and maintain a suitable reporting mechanism/tool driving the provision of inputs from other entities in the Asset, analyzing and formatting this information, as required.
* Conduct preliminary analysis and investigation of any deviations or improvement in the Performance Indicators, highlighting and recording where appropriate any corrective actions.
* Present KPIs to encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
* Liaise with the Corporate Functions and other Assets to ensure that the data being captured is consistent with the rest of the subsidiary and aligned where necessary for consolidation purposes.
* Monitor and ensure visibility of the level of service between the Corporate, Shared Services and the Asset, including benchmarking and follow up of performance corrective actions.
* Gather and execute regular Reporting as required for Partners, Group etc.
* Preparation and reporting for the Asset LEAN & 3C process reviews, discussing with the process owners the progress against the plan and improvements realised.
* Develop and help drive a change of culture and proactively seek improvements within the KPI & performance area
* Support the CNS PFG Manager in co-ordination of regular asset meetings including Monthly Asset Performance ("MAP") Meeting, Performance Management Monthly Review ("PMMR"), N-3 meeting, Village Halls and other ad-hoc meetings on request (i.e., Asset Review).
* Co-ordinate and prepare regular Reporting as required for Partners, Group etc. For example, monthly partner report to Elgin JV.
* Raise requisitions as required within the comppany's SAP UNISOL system including following up approvals to ensure timely submission of orders to vendors.
* Act as a focal point of the company's Perfect Day Incentive process, this includes co-ordination of submissions from external vendors as well as following up internally to ensure approval and release orders have been raised.
* Where requested support the Asset with day-to-day contract management activities.
* Co-ordination and analysis activities in support of the CNS Asset PFG Team as required.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Experienced PowerBI contributor
* Synergi experience would be beneficial
* The job holder should be educated to degree level or similar and/or demonstrate significant ability through experience and proven achievements in this field.
* The job holder should be self-motivated with the ability to coordinate and influence
* General understanding of the technical operations within the oil & gas industry
* Demonstrably strong analytical skills
* Confident communicator, collaborator with the ability to influence
