Requirement

5 years sourcing, planning or project execution experience

Candidate should be locally available in UAE.
Prior work experience in Production Facility Projects
Prior experience in project planning or project execution procedures
Prior experience in hands on fabrication, rotating equipment or electrical package integration
Optional experience in expediting or audit inspecting a bonus

Job Description

Procurement/Sourcing
* Participate in supplier selection and auditing process in conjunction with the category manager
* Take handover of PO/Contract from sourcing specialist
* Carry out contract review and continuously monitor & execute the contract with respect to supplier performance
* Provide visibility on physical purchase order status to Project Supply Manager (PSM) / Project Supply Lead (PSL)
* Own and manage the MOC process for the package, based on engineering inputs, ensure all COR's are valid from the supplier, negotiate the COR's to maximize savings and minimize impact to project P&L & delivery
* Management of Good Receipt, quarantine, returns processes for all purchase orders
* Management of supplier warranty claim, notification to supplier, track any re-charges Execution/Controls
* Review, establish and continuously monitor the delivery schedule of the PO and ensure full integration into the overall
project schedule
* Responsible to receive/validate Progress Reporting from supplier and consolidate in Project Reporting / PLG
* Plan and coordinate onsite supplier support for installation, testing and commissioning of the equipment
* Interface management : Coordination with vendor related interfaces (incl. design interfaces, responsibility matrix)
Quality
* Coordinate with Project Quality Manager to ensure on-time delivery and quality objectives are met
* Coordinate inspection activities in conjunction with Quality Engineers and QC Engineers
* Identify NCRs during inspections and/or surveillance and provide required information to Quality
* Communicate any deviations, deficiencies or warranty claims to Supply Manager, Engineering & Project Manager, follow up with supplier for remedial action plan via quality management system
* Project based supplier performance monitoring - NCR, OTD and VOR/COR trends

Logistics
* Liaison with Logistics Coordinator to assure accuracy of shipping documentation and timely collection of equipment from supplier
* Land transporting and international freight loading/offloading (incl. packaging, lifting, anchoring design/execution)
* Purchase order management
* Risk assessment
* Supplier Quality Management
* Warranty claim Management
