Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Mechanical Engineer, based onshore in Aberdeen with offshore visits as required. This is offered as a fixed term, 9-month contract. Start required February 2025.

Responsibilities:
Manage all mechanically biased PM and CM maintenance activities to meet company KPIs
Management of vendors to deliver scope
Responsible for controlling mechanical budget
Liaise with Maintenance Engineer and mech TA's to ensure alignment
Liaise with Logistics and vessel providers
Liaise with buyers as and when necessary to enable work to be liquidated.
Engage in the Work Order planning process to ensure effective liquidation of work and management of backlog
Task reporting is to the Maintenance Engineer Work Related Competence:

Previous experience in a Mechanical role supporting offshore maintenance delivery
Experience working with SAP beneficial
Current offshore certification (medical/BOSIET/MIST etc.)
