Job description
Orion Group require a Principal Electrical Engineer on a Pre- FEED and FEED Project for an initial 12 month contract role with an immediate start.
The role will be based on 5 days a week in our client’s offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working may be possible, with potential for two days working remotely.
The role is likely to be outside IR35, pending authorisation via self-assessment.

Job Description
Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing power systems for Energy transition projects for Pre-FEED and FEED work.
The experience shall include:
- a) conceptual designs for onshore and / or offshore projects
- b) sizing and selection of 132kV / 11kV equipment, Large Frequency convertors, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
- c) Development of philosophies
- d) Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent).
- e) Brownfield tie-ins at existing plants.
