Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be 2- 3 days a week onsite, but this is flexible and depending on the ongoing projects.
What you will do
Our Site Commercialization team plays a vital role in managing the life cycle for new and existing medicines of our client which are supplied to millions of patients.
Being this professional, you will be responsible for the timely implementation of product launches, variations (CMC & Labelling), and execution of other activities for products of our client packaged at our client in Breda, ADL, and CMOs, as well as partner products.
You will be part of the Product Lifecycle Team (PLT) and responsible for translating implementation of Launch/LCM strategy to the Supply Chain objectives of our client and actions per designated product group.
Every single day you make sure all life cycle management solutions are timely implemented and communicated. Besides that, you will participate in end-to-end Projects as part of the overall Project Portfolio of our client in Breda.

Main Responsibilities of the role
- Follow strategic objectives of Regional Operations Leads and/or Senior Alliance Managers, you will assure effective planning, timely execution and implementation of Launches and Variations and other activities, in coordination, collaboration, and leveraging on internal stakeholders such as QA, RA, Production & Site Planning, Artwork, Warehouse, Customer Service & Procurement.
- Facilitate Product Life Cycle Team meeting, ensure input for the agenda is received in full and on time. Prepare pre-read and coordinate action items.
- Assure timely and fully compliant maintenance of the Change Control Management System related to Launch executions, Variations implementations, and other activities related to the life cycle management of the products of our client.
- Actively participate in End-to-End Overall Project Plan, to ensure correct input is provided from a Supply Chain perspective to meet the overall implementation goal of the project.
- Participate in specific Supply Chain projects and business cases (example: SKU’s management, rationalization, and implementation of new pack configuration) in a timely and compliant manner.
- Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Engineering or Supply Chain OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- 1 - 5 years of related professional experience in site commercialization activities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills (fluent English) and stakeholder management
- Experience in using Smartsheet, Tableau and other experience in digitalization of processes is a plus.
- Preferably experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another regulated industry.
- Experience with GMP, GDP regulations is a plus.
- Being able to influence people in the right direction.
