Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Offshore Utility Operator., based Offshore.

Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor the utility systems.
* Maintain watch Operator Station.
* Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the utility systems.
* Perform first line maintenance of the utility systems.
* Perform bunkering operations.
* Ensure the Control Room is kept tidy and in good order.
* Carry out relevant tests and inspection routines as per Computerised Maintenance Management system.
* Identify and report utility systems maintenance requirements.
* Perform sampling and analysis on utility systems to ensure optimization in accordance with requirements.
* Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
* Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance and operation activities.
* Use the Permit to Work system. Prepare Permits; Follow the Permit to Work procedures.
* Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Produce reports, update records, generate work orders.
* Prepare required reports, keep logs and maintain appropriate documentation.
* Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively.
* Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
* On-the-job training of colleagues and trainees.
* Member of Emergency Response Team.


Experience & Qualifications:
* One year watch keeping experience from marine or offshore industry. Relevant experience of FPSO or other offshore installations in other positions.
* Good interpersonal and communications skills.
* According to the company's Competence Assurance Matrix.
* According to the company's English Language Proficiency Matrix.
* Good computer and use of computerized maintenance management skills
