Job description

Orion Partner Plus are delighted to have been retained by a global leader providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.

We have an immediate need for a Production Manager located in Freeport, TX.

The Production Manager will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee the production activities at the plant ensuring safe, environmentally responsible and development and implementation of efficient operation of the production equipment by production personnel.

The incumbent must ensure excellence in SH&E performance, process safety management, manufacturing excellence, and productivity.

* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years applicable experience working in production, manufacturing, operations within a plant environment along with a minimum of 4 years of direct leadership/management experience. An additional 4 years of applicable experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

* Knowledge of financial measurements of Manufacturing

* Strong Computer literacy

* Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

* Experience in fast-paced iterative design environments within the consumer electronics, mobile handset, medical devices, aerospace, or automotive industries

* Demonstrated capability to solve complex problems with little to no supervision on schedule as an individual or as a member of an integrated team using appropriate problem-solving tools

* Experience identifying and analyzing production process improvements for rate and quality

* Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments in a fast-paced production environment

* Experience monitoring, tracking and continually improving the total cost of unit production

* Hands on leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong passion for advancing manufacturing process efficiency

* Concern for people as evidenced by a passion for safety, people development, motivation, and engagement

* Previous experience using SAP and FST * Knowledge of ISO or other Quality Management Systems

* Strong interpersonal skills, able to direct, challenge, motivate and influence at different levels

* Excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex ideas in a simple, logical and understandable way to people at all levels in the organization

* Capacity for working with interdisciplinary / international teams * Good problem-solving skills

* Proven experience driving large scale culture shifts * International and multicultural mindset
