Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Ruya Batch 1 MIE Materials Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in procurement, in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Experience with CMIMS.
  • Primarily contribute to the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contract spare parts activities.
  • Review and validate the Material Master Request Form (MMRF) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Company standards.
  • Participate and follow pre-purchase requests to ensure materials data correctness.
  • Network with suppliers and contractors to maintain up to date data into CMIMS system and contractor deliverables.
  • Provide assistance to the MIE contractor Work Package leaders with regards to spare parts activities issues.
  • Provide technical support and assistance during and after the start-up of the new facilities for all MIEC related issues.
