Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Clinical Supply Chain for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. Hybrid position.

What will you do


Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MSC) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of products, process knowledge and technology solutions to enable accelerated product commercialization of our client. The MSC business spans from demand and supply planning, sourcing, manufacturing to distribution of products to support clinical trials globally. As an integral part of Process Development organization, MSC provides an innovation ecosystem to advance differentiating multi-modality capabilities and gain insight in development and regulated environment in support of product and process development. Leveraging our tech transfer and manufacturing capabilities, MSC serves as a launch site to enable speed to market for innovative products and biosimilars of our client.
Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MSC) is seeking a Sr. Associate Clinical Supply Chain / NAMP Planner Buyer who will be responsible for executing Source-to-Pay, and Supply and Demand Planning processes for an assigned portfolio of Medicinal Products not from our client supporting global clinical studies.

Responsibilities

  • Translate Product Supply Setup and MRP Planned Order requirements into an optimal global supply plan by working closely with Clinical Product Setup Leads, Development Supply Chain Leads, and Global Study Planners.
  • Collaborate with Vendors, Partners, and Clinical Supply Chain, leveraging demand forecast, use of SAP and other supply/scenario planning tools to ensure patient supply.
  • Involvement in market assessments and gathering of market intelligence to determine the optimal sourcing strategy for each assigned Medicinal Product not from our client based on demand, availability, documentation, expiry, pricing, quality and any other relevant factors.
  • Resolve Sourcing and Delivery conflicts impacting studies and R&D milestones ensuring that supplies are not on the critical path. Resolve invoicing issues.
  • Coordinate with others in Clinical Supply Chain and/or Contract Manufacturers on labelling, packaging, and shipment of drug products. Collaborate with Global Trade Organization (GTO) for international shipments and manage import-for-export process.
  • Execute quarterly PO/invoice reconciliation with Finance and provide ERP system updates to standard costs/export pricing annually.
  • ERP System tasks such as: SKU Creation, Master Data updates, Purchase Orders Creation, Open Orders Reports. MyBuy/Ariba tasks: Create and manage Purchase Requisitions.
  • Initiate NAMP specification documents in PLM and create / own documents in Veeva Vault.
  • Create and maintain Smartsheet trackers, dashboards and Sharepoint sites.
  • Support cross-functional process improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Operations/Life Science industry/Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning experience OR Associate’s degree and 6 years of Operations/Life Science industry/Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning experience ORHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of Operations/Life Science industry/Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement of Comparator Products and/or GMP Materials.
  • Confident with digital systems and communication tools (excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Sharepoint, Smartsheet, Tableau).
  • Proficiency with ERP Systems such as SAP and procurement system Ariba.
  • Experience with document management system Veeva Vault and PLM.
  • Supply and Demand Planning experience for Clinical Trial Materials.
  • Strong teamwork and influencing capabilities.
  • Solid analytical skills and knowledge of Cost Accounting.
  • Strong procurement skills (e.g. gathering market intelligence, negotiation, vendor relationship management).
  • Experience in managing transportation, including Import/Export of medicinal products.
  • APICS, ISM or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
