Purpose
- Responsible for all aspects of the pre-commissioning and commissioning to support the successful delivery of the COMP9 scope.
- Responsible as necessary to support the interface commissioning functions for COMP9 / COMP2 / COMP1 during the execution stage.
- Manage timely delivery of all systems completion’s deliverables (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for COMP9.
- Ensures overall commissioning compliance with Projects specifications, procedures, and plans.
- Develop and manage effective commissioning procedures and tools, and commissioning plans for effective and smooth handover to the operating organization.
- Work in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day.
- Coordinates complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
- Clear and concise communications required with PMT members.
- Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language.
- Interacts effectively with Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence without authority
Qualification & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil & gas industries and minimum 5+ years on similar position.
- Experience with Project Execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, and systems completion.
- Experience of dealing with Brownfield Projects and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS).
- Sufficient I&C / MICC / ICSS experiences is required.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to collaborate with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
