Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Static Equipment Lead on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.
Minimum Requirements
• Engineering degree/diploma
• 10+ years’ of relevant experience as Static Equipment lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
• Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the Static Equipment/mechanical activities for Offshore Project
Ensure that the Contractor’s Static Equipment for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering, comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards.
Participate to key design workshop including HAZOP,3D model reviews.
Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements of ECPI, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor. Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the work scope.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in delivery of the Static equipment related to Topsides and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
