Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Supply Chain Operational Excellence Project Coordinator for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract. Hybrid role.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Operational Excellence (OE) Project Coordinator who will be overseeing and executing various projects and/or programs within the OE strategy of the Global Distribution organization. In this role you will be developing and maintaining performance metrics that track improvements. This person will also be supporting the digital transformation and will be acting as and Operational Excellence role model. The position will report to the Manager Enablement and will work together daily with the enablement team and other stakeholders overseeing and executing various projects within the OE strategy of the Global Distribution Hub EMEA organization.

Main Responsibilities of the role
  • Leverage advanced analytics and visualization technologies including Tableau/Microsoft Power BI, Smartsheet or equivalent.
  • Manage and execute on established projects/programs within OE strategy.
  • Support and guide yellow/green belt project implementations.
  • Use a variety of data sources to blend, consolidate and analyse data for efficient delivery and reporting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and process improvement workshops, such as Lessons Learned and Retrospectives (Fishbone / 5-Why).
  • Drive productivity initiatives within the Global Distribution Organization.
  • Develop/evolve and apply data tool set to analyse processes and realize improvements.
  • Foster a culture of OE and Continuous Improvement.
  • Anticipate change, initiate innovative Supply Chain concepts & services.
Required Qualifications and skills
  • Master’s degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering & 2 years of directly related experience.
  • Understanding of OE and LEAN principles.
  • Proven track record in LEAN management (Green Belt certified).
  • Good understanding of GDP and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain concepts.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/Microsoft Power BI, Smartsheet or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, in both oral and written communication.
  • High learning agility, self-directed and results oriented.
  • Analytical and strong conceptual thinking.
  • Hands-on and pragmatic.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for multiple levels in organization, including presentations.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence others to deliver results.
