Contracts Engineer – Offshore Wind Projects
Location: Paris
Contract Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer to manage procurement and contract activities for offshore wind and renewable energy projects. This role involves contract engineering, procurement strategy development, and expert support for pre-FID phases of major renewables initiatives. About the Role:

This role involves contract engineering, procurement strategy development, and expert support for pre-FID phases of major renewables initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Consultation & Fabrication Contracts Management
- Prepare tender deliverables.
- Administer and manage calls for tenders.
- Qualify suppliers and negotiate contractual terms/variations.
- Present contract outcomes to management.
- Deliverables include memos, presentations, and finalized contracts for offshore wind packages.
- Procurement Strategy Development for Offshore Wind
- Consolidate market intelligence and supplier information for offshore wind foundations.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops with engineers, legal experts, and project managers.
- Deliverables include strategic memos and presentations.
- Renewables Project Contract Support (Pre-FID Phase)
- Provide contract engineering and coordination expertise.
- Prepare contract templates and calls for tenders.
- Ensure alignment with project timelines, costs, quality, and HSE standards.
- Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in EPC contract engineering and administration, with mandatory experience in offshore wind contracts. Additional experience in renewables contracts and templates such as NEC, BIMCO, and FIDIC is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (or equivalent); Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong contractual and negotiation expertise.
- Proficiency in EPC/FIDIC contracts; Power BI experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of industrial construction techniques and energy-related challenges.
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical, organized, and results-oriented.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Flexible and able to work in an international context.
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory. Proficiency in French or Chinese is a plus.
