Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Senior Proposal Manager to join an international engineering and architectural design consultancy. The position will be based in Muscat, Oman on a permanent basis.
The Senior Proposal Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the business by leading the development of high-quality bids. This role requires a deep understanding of both the financial and technical components of proposals and tenders. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that all proposals meet client requirements and are submitted on time. You will be responsible for creating efficient processes, templates, and databases that facilitate the integration of technical and commercial components in bids. Additionally, you will establish strategic partnerships to enhance collaborative efforts in bidding endeavors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in proposal management within an engineering consultancy or related industry.
- Strong understanding of financial and technical aspects of proposals and tenders.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a well-established network of contacts within the engineering and consultancy industry.
- Experience with local, international projects and understanding of global standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
